I listened to the piece called "Blame" on Radiolab. It's a story about pointing the finger and wether if it is always right to point the finger. The story is told from about 3 different voices; a man, a women, and an older man. They all coincide with each other and are played on top of one another. The story was very unique and had a lot of great sound effects that help carry the sound recording. It might not have been my favorite thing I ever listened to, but it was pretty cool to listen to each and every sound they used to convey the story.

If your'e seeing that this is late, it's because my internet at home is so terribly bad that it took forever to upload the rough cut to Vimeo, again. Please don't take off points!

World War Z is not your typically zombie flick; its about a infectious virus that affects the whole human population. We travel around the world with investigator Gerry Lane in the hopes of finding a anti-body to stop the virus. The film is non-stop action and you just sit there watching with your eyes glued to the screen waiting to find out whats going to happen next. Even though this film has numerous re-shoots and went way over budget, I loved every second of this film. The acting and the directing was spot on. I honestly could not have asked for a better film.
I recently saw the documentary "Blackfish" and I can just say I was absolutely appalled by the whole the thing. The film is about the killer whales that are held captive at our beloved tourist attraction, Seaworld. It takes us on a journey about the history of orca whales and their psychological problems that are associated with them being held captive for such long periods of time. It's main star: the killer-whale Tilikum, who has had numerous incidents in the past with killing trainers in the most horrifying ways. Most recently was in 2010 with Dawn Brancheau in which she was drowned and dismembered. This same whale still remains at Seaworld and even still performs shows. Something needs to be done about this. We need to stop breeding and keeping killer-whales in captivity because they are dangerous mammals and it is apparent that they are dangerous. They may not attack the trainers every time they are in the water but there are those rare days when the whale will become frustrated and will snap. Leading them to attack their trainers. The whole SeaWorld shamble is just one big business where they portray this animals to be fluffy-little-creatures but in reality--they are giant, 6-ton mammals, living inside of the equivalent of a bathtub.

In my personal opinion I believe this article speaks volumes. I myself do not trust the government one single bit. The government is just so utterly corrupt, it's disgusting. They want to know everything we're doing and we have no sense of privacy. Even when writing this response they could be reading this. I believe Snowden was very bold for doing this and you have to give him some respect/credit for it.

I understand their concern after 9/11 and various outside threats, but for god sakes we have lost our sense of privacy. The USDA wasn't in this article but that's another part of our government that is slowly trying to kill us with the foods we eat. It's not just our privacy that's under scrutiny, its our food, our drinks, our air, our environment, our everything.

The Art of Peeping

It’s hard really to defend the photographer in this sense, but theres no really way to do it. I feel like it is a complete invasion of privacy and that it is very, very creepy. I do get that every photograph has their own style and thinks everything is a form of art around them but it’s just plain weird.

While photographing your neighbors from their window isn't an everyday occurrence what is eerily similar to it is the form of paparazzi is. It’s this aim of undercover photography (in some cases), eavesdropping, and stalking among these people. So i’ll reiterate, is this wrong? Yes, it is and I find no way to defend it.

The Medium Is The New Massage

I enjoyed how it states "a new form of politics is emerging" and in ways we haven't noticed. They are so persuasive in their personal, economic, psychological, moral, and social consequences.

All media are extensions of some human faculty-- psychic or physical.

It's just talking about how extensions of ourselves can be so closely related than we think.

Paying Attention During Class

Start out strong, my back is pretty straight and eyes are fully on the teacher.

Maybe 45 minutes into class that semi-straight posture is gone.

I'm now just starring straight, zoning in and out on what the teachers saying.

30 Minutes later my Focus is back! Except my neck is strained from looking all the way to my right because of my seat so I'm resting my arm on the arm rest.

I notice I take one hand, and with my middle finger and thumb I push up my eyebrows to try to wake myself up or just to help me focus.

Throughout the class I find my leg formations change very often. I'll put the left foot over the right or the opposite. I have my legs completely stretched out, feet flat with knees bent, and then somewhere in the middle.

I also tend to try to swipe my hair over to the left with my left hand just trying to fix it or just because.

If I get really bored I will take off my bracelet and just start fiddling with it. It's just a nervous habit.

And that's about all I noticed really.
